Software Integration

Connect your CRM, accounting, e-commerce and communication tools so data moves between them without retyping.

Remote team · Clients worldwideHire us on Upwork

Most businesses use a handful of good tools that do not talk to each other. Orders come in through the online store, invoices live in the accounting package, customer details sit in a CRM, and someone spends hours each week copying information from one to the other. Every manual copy is a chance for a typo, a missed order or an outdated record.

We connect the software you already use so information moves between systems automatically. When a deal is won, an invoice can be created. When an order is placed, stock, accounts and the customer record can all update. When a form is submitted, the right person can be notified with the details they need.

We use native integrations where they exist, automation platforms like Zapier and Make where they fit, and direct API connections when the job needs more control. Every integration is documented, tested with real data and monitored, so you know what is connected, why, and what happens if something fails.

In short

What is software integration?

Software integration is the work of connecting separate business tools, such as a CRM, accounting package, online store, and email, so data moves between them automatically instead of being retyped. TechPit Solutions uses native integrations, automation platforms like Zapier, Make, and n8n, or direct API connections, and documents, tests, and monitors each connection so failed syncs are caught and fixed quickly.

  • Best for businesses using several separate tools for sales, accounting, orders, and support that spend hours copying data between them.
  • Built remotely after a free consultation and a systems map, tested with real data, run briefly alongside your current process, then switched over.

Who this is for

  • Businesses using several separate tools for sales, accounting, orders and support
  • Teams that spend hours each week retyping data between systems
  • E-commerce stores that need orders, stock and accounts kept in step
  • Companies adopting a new CRM or accounting package that must fit existing tools
  • Owners who want reliable reports but cannot trust data spread across apps

Problems we fix

  • The same customer or order details are entered into two or three systems by hand
  • Records disagree between the CRM, accounting software and the online store
  • Integrations someone set up years ago break silently and nobody notices
  • Staff export spreadsheets every week just to move data from one tool to another
  • Choosing new software is hard because nobody knows what it needs to connect to

What's included

What our Software Integration service includes

  • Systems and data flow map

A clear diagram of the software you use, what data each tool holds and where information is currently copied by hand.

  • Integration design

A plan for each connection: what triggers it, which fields map to which, which system is the source of truth and how duplicates are handled.

  • Integration build

Connections built with native integrations, Zapier, Make, n8n or custom API code, depending on what is most reliable and maintainable for you.

  • Data cleanup and initial sync

Existing records tidied and matched before systems are connected, so you start from clean data instead of spreading errors further.

  • Error handling and alerts

Logging, retries and notifications so failed syncs are caught and fixed quickly rather than discovered weeks later.

  • Documentation and training

Written notes on every integration, who owns which accounts and how to pause or adjust a connection, plus a walkthrough for your team.

Benefits

Why it's worth doing properly

  • Less retyping

Automated data transfer frees staff from repetitive copying, giving them time for customers and work that actually needs a person.

  • Fewer errors

Information entered once and passed along automatically reduces typos, missed orders and records that disagree between systems.

  • Faster response

Leads, orders and requests reach the right person right away, so customers are not left waiting while data is moved by hand.

  • Reports you can trust

When systems stay in step, your sales, finance and operations figures line up, which makes planning and decisions easier.

Process

How the work runs

  1. STEP 01

    Assess

We list your tools, talk to the people who use them and identify where manual copying costs the most time or causes the most errors.

  2. STEP 02

    Design

We define each integration's trigger, field mapping, source of truth and failure handling, and agree on priorities with you.

  3. STEP 03

    Implement

We build and test integrations with sample and real data, run them alongside your current process briefly, then switch over.

  4. STEP 04

    Monitor

Integration monitoring runs continuously and raises alerts for our team on failures and API changes, and we fix issues and handle support requests during agreed support hours.

FAQ

Software Integration: common questions

Can you connect software that does not have a built-in integration?

Often, yes. Many applications offer an API, which lets us build a direct connection even when no ready-made integration exists. Automation platforms such as Zapier, Make and n8n also support thousands of apps. If a system has no API at all, we look at other options such as scheduled exports and imports, email parsing or replacing the tool with one that connects more easily.

Should we use Zapier, Make or a custom integration?

It depends on volume, complexity and cost. Zapier and Make are quick to set up and easy to adjust, which suits most small business workflows. n8n can be self-hosted for more control. Custom code makes sense for high volumes, complex logic or sensitive data. We recommend the option that will be reliable and affordable to run, and explain the trade-offs clearly.

How much does software integration cost?

Cost depends on how many systems are involved, how complex the data mapping is, how clean your existing data is, whether custom code is needed and whether you want ongoing monitoring. Subscription fees for automation platforms are separate. Book a free consultation and we will map your systems with you and give you a clear quote for the integrations that matter most.

What happens if an integration stops working?

We build integrations with logging and alerts, so failures are flagged rather than silently ignored. Software vendors sometimes change their APIs or settings, which can break connections. With ongoing support, integration monitoring runs continuously and raises alerts for our team, and we fix the issue and re-run any records that failed so nothing is lost.

Is our data safe when systems are connected?

We use official APIs and secure authentication methods, give each integration only the permissions it needs, and store credentials in the platform's secure settings rather than in shared documents. We avoid moving sensitive data unless it is genuinely required, and we document which data flows where so you can answer questions from clients or auditors about how information is handled.
