Cookie policy

Last updated 4 October 2026.

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as local storage, work in the same way and are covered by this policy too. This page explains which ones TechPit Solutions uses and how you can control them. For how we handle personal data more generally, see our privacy policy.

The short version

Categories we use

Strictly necessary

Needed for the site to work securely: remembering your cookie choice, protecting our forms from spam, and keeping staff signed in to the admin area. These do not require consent and cannot be switched off in our settings, though you can block them in your browser (some features may then stop working).

Functional

Remember choices you make, such as your preferred country. They are set only when you make that choice and are not used to track you.

Analytics

Help us understand how the site is used so we can improve it. We use Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager, and only after you give consent. We use Google Consent Mode v2: by default, analytics storage, ad storage, ad user data and ad personalisation are all set to "denied", and only functionality and security storage is allowed. Accepting analytics changes analytics storage to "granted"; the advertising settings stay denied because we do not advertise with your data.

Third-party services we link to or embed, such as the booking calendar on our contact page, may set their own cookies when you use them. Those are controlled by the provider's own cookie and privacy policies.

Changing your cookie settings

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time. Your choice is saved for 12 months, after which we ask again.

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a refusal of analytics cookies. Withdrawing consent stops analytics from loading on future visits; to remove cookies already set, clear them in your browser.

Browser controls

Most browsers let you see, delete and block cookies. Blocking all cookies may stop some parts of the site from working, such as the contact form spam check.

You can also stop Google Analytics on every website with Google's opt-out browser add-on.
